Mathematics influence societies and cultures around the world because kids from around the world can use math to convert money to see how much it will be in a different country. Also, kids could fun math sites like interactive sites.com and play cool games for math and science like math bingo. Lastly, when I was on interactive sites, cool math games, and iready all of these sites let me play fun games and helped me study for the math, scienec, ELA, and social studies test this year.

You started out great but went backwards while continuing. You got off track and started writing about a different topic. Also you didn't put sentences as you were told. Try to expand what your saying. I would give this 1 point an unacceptable.

Mathematics influences societies and cultures around the world because it depends on the project or problem your doing to relate on that topic. For instances at J.H.S 144 they had a culture day and the 6 grade math teacher did something called stations. Each station was a different country and what there mostly talked about. Station 1 was Brazil and the world cup, the kids sitting there had to answer math questions that were all answered in the text that they had to read and graphs that they had to look at. Station 2 was about Antarctica and the bats there that were freezing. The kids sitting at that group did temperature conversions, changing Fahrenheit to Celsius. Station 3 was Italy the kids there were doing fractions with pizza. Station 4 was China the kids got to make origami and had to write down the angles of the figure. Lastly station 5 at that station the kids were on the computers learning and working out longitude and latitude problems.

Mathematics influence societies and cultures around the world by when you go to the shop if you know math the shop keeper can’t rip you off. You need to know math to get a good job. If you do not have math people will take advantage of anything you have. Therefore when you do not have math it is really hard to survive and make money. In my class we have stations when it’s like we are visiting another country our math are the same just in different language. People around and us all have the same math. We had origami whales that represent Japan that is relating to math by we had the shapes and geometry, the soccer world cup that is relating to math by we had to multiply how many people were playing and how many goals were scored, and we had a converting money station this relating to math by we were using to multiplication to figure the amount of money it is in the other country for example converting US dollars to European dollars .

Mathematics influences societies and cultures around the world because kids all around the world should know how to do math. If a student lives in China and they don't know math they can ask to have a pen-pal in America their American pen-pal can tutor them and then they'll be able to learn math. For example we did stations where we converted a U.S dollar into a European dollar about conversions of money. We also did a station where we made origami whales it teaches us about geometry and its from Japan. We did a world cup station from Brazil.

How does mathematics influence societies and cultures around the world? For example, because kids from around the world can use math to convert money to see how much it will be in a different country. Another example,it will depend on the project you are doing with topic. My last example, they should know how to do math because it helps you in your everyday life.

Mathematics influences cultures and societies because math can help the government a lot. It can help the government by knowing how to tell the taxes or more. One example is that you need math to know how much money you can take out of the people.

Mathematics influence society because if we didn't have math we wouldn't know our year. When was ancient Egypt made we wouldn't know that if it weren't for mathematics.math is what gives us our time and date , money and cent. social studies is the thing that give us information about our cutler.with out math we wouldn't know what century we in.

Math can influence our cultuer because we would need math to know how much money we have or to waste. (Ex. I waste $250 on cloths me or the cashier would'nt know how much money to spend/waste if it wase'nt for the money) that's 1 way on how we use math in our everyday life and also of how mathematics influences our cultuer

Mathematics influence societies and cultures around the world, when you go to the store and if you know how to count money you will know if they will rip you off at the cash register or not. You need to know your math to get a grate job. If you don't know how to add or subtract, people will take advantage of anything you have by saying this cost a lot when it cost a little. Therefore when you do not know your math stragies it is really hard to survive and make money. In my class we have stations when it’s like we are visiting another country our math are the same just in different language. We had origami whales that represent Japan and China that is relating to geometry in math and we had a converting money station that is related to math by using multiplication to figure the amount of money it is in a different country for example converting US dollars to Euros (Spain) and found out that 1 US dollar will be 0.7209468 Euro in Spain. These were the stations we did as a class for "Math All Around The World."

Mathematics influences societies and culture around the world because math is the "Universal Language." That means no matter where you are in the world, math is always the same. If your at France for a vacation, and your're studying math, it may seem different in their language but its the exact same mathematics like at your home country.

The mathematics influence societies and cultures all around the world by including math In our every day life's. Just like in the market places in Africa they do the same math that we do in the stores In America. Math is math. In other country's they might do the math in a different language but it is the same thing. If you ask a person from another country , don't expect them to say that 7+7=21 they will sat they correct answer in a different language. On the website that I put up with this comment one person says that

Mathematics influences societies and cultures around the world because it could help students that don't understand math. But in addition math is taught in different languages but is taught same ways. Also can be taught different ways like if a teacher teaches you something and you understand it but if you don't understand the method then you can use it.

Math influences our society and cultures around the world in many different ways. Math influences our society because you can use it to exchange money around the world. Math is used to convert celsius into ferinhiet because in Canada it might be 34 degree celcius and the people from the United States might say "I'm not going to Canada because it is too cold" when it is really hot. Understanding coordinate grids helps people read a map, it helps you find the north, south, east, and west of a map. Math is used all over the world which influences our society and culture all around the world.

Math influences our society and cultures in many ways around the world. Do you know everyone does math without even thinking? No matter what math is in every culture and society. For example a couple weeks ago at my school Michelangelo Junior High School, we were doing centers. It sounds like a kindergarten thing but, it's not. At every center there are different cultures (people). We all participate and do the same work. My point I'm making is that in every country, state, and people do math. In our class centers we went to Japan. That's where my class will learn how to make origami and geometry whale's. Everyone actually helped one another to fold the paper whales. Although it didn't look much like a whale it was fun and we help a lot of people with geometry. Another center is when my class went to Italy. We made pixel pizza off the schools I-Pads. The class had to measure fractions. For example, if someone ordered a small pizza half cheese, 1/4 bacon and 1/4 mushroom, the pizza would be cut into four with two slices with cheese, one slice with bacon and one slice with mushroom. This one center was clearly chosen because Italy invented pizza. Also Japan origami and Italian pizza was chosen because to represent how these two countries do math as well. All countries do math it's not just these two I pick. Overall you see my point. Math is all over the world, everyone uses it. My math and science teacher Miss. Careccia helped explain this topic to me.

Math influence our society and cultures around the world by being one of these things all countries can understand and have in common. I remember, when the class had the ‘around the world’ stations, there was one for Italy. We had to go on the IPads and put some toppings on the fraction of pizza the client ordered. It was fun and hard for me at first but then, I understood what to do. I picked this as an example because in Italy, math is the same and these stations had some things about the country's culture but had the same math as everywhere in the world.

The way that math influnces secioties and cultures around the world is by letting us know how to caculate and solve varous problem's for the future . It all plays a vary inportant roles in others people's culture. For Example maybe you and your family has had a job for many genorations that has been passed on to you, you whould need to count the money at the end of each day and that whould require math because you whould have to add . Another example is on the week of culture day when my class mates and I did a work sheet called math abourd and we had to put the currency and the foregn units for 1 United States Dollar (usd) and use diffrent country to see how much one dollar whould cost in that country. Then at the end we had see how much 500.00 $ whould cost in thhat diffrent country. That is two examples how math can influnce diffrent country.

Math influences societies and cultures by teaching us about different countries.for example in school we did the five station rotation.it was different cultures and countries for culture day.the five stations included Italy,Europe,Brazil, and Germany.this taught us things about its country that some of us didn't know until now.

Math has and still does affect societies around the world. One way math affects societies around the world is money transformation. Money transformation is super important around the world. For example when going to a different country like Jamaica you would need to transform money by going to the bank so you would be able to by stuff. Another way math affects societies around the world is weather transformation. For example in Canada it might be 20 degrees Celsius but is they wanted to come to New York they would have to find the weather in Fahrenheit so they would know what type of clothes to bring

Math influences cultures and societies around the word because kids and adults use math to convert money to see how much it costs in other countries. It also makes us know the time and date all around the world but it won't be the same it could be 8:20 in America and 5:00 in some other country.
